Common Questions
How do I RSVP, and when is the deadline?
We’re requesting RSVPs by March 1st, 2025. It’s easiest to RSVP online (click the button at the top of this page), but you can also contact us directly.
Does your wedding have a theme?
Not entirely, but we’re leaning into things reflect our style and taste. The wedding venue is an art deco style speakeasy. You’ll also notice other influences from Irish culture, roleplaying games, and more that reflect the history of our relationship.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We want to welcome your whole family to St. Louis, but due to space restrictions and type of venue we are unable to accommodate guests under the age of 18. Reach out to us (and see below) for info about childcare for the duration of the wedding and reception. All ages are welcome to any of events the before and after the big day.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Please refer to your invitation to determine if we have saved a seat for you to bring another guest. The RSVP Form will also list who’s included on your invitation.
What childcare options are available this weekend?
If you are looking for childcare throughout the weekend, we recommend TLC for Kids for in-hotel and event childcare. Their staff are interviewed face-to-face and evaluated for childcare skills, knowledge, and philosophy. They also conduct thorough background checks and provide CPR & First Aid Training. Care.com may also offer great options.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
All events will be held indoors. May in St. Louis is beautiful, with temps in the 50-70’s and lots of blooming flowers. Rain and thunderstorms are possible.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
If you’d like, we encourage you to take pictures of the wedding and reception, while making sure to enjoy the moment. Afterward we’ll invite you to share them to a virtual photo album so we can see the night through your eyes. We will have a videographer present as well.
What type of food will be served?
We’ll be serving hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet-style sit-down dinner with a selection of meat and vegetarian options.
Are cocktails or other beverages available?
We’re hosting a standard open bar plus water and coffee stations throughout.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
You can share those with us on the RSVP form or contact us directly.
Where are people staying?
We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Drury Inn at Union Station. Mention our names when reserving your room. We also recommend The Anged Arts Hotel as another option.
What’s the easiest way to get to the wedding?
St. Louis is a very car-dependent city and we recommend driving. The Thaxton is a 5-minute drive from the Drury Inn at Union Station and we’ll have reserved parking. Rideshares such as Uber/Lyft/Taxi are also readily available and a great option. The Metrolink Light Rail station next to the Drury Inn runs from Union Station to the 8th and Pine Station (about a 4 min walk to the venue). Last train from the station leaves at 12:00am.
Accessibility
The venue is made up of three floors, and there is elevator service to all three floors. The entrance is on the main floor and does not require stairs.
Where should I look for updates or last-minute changes?
We’ll update the website as things change. We suggest checking back closer to your travel day. If you provide an email or phone number during the RSVP process we’ll use that to notify you of any significant changes.
Whom should I contact with questions?
You are welcome to call/text Audra or Chase. You can also message us through our website.
